Promoting Positive Change

Do more of what you love and feel great

Specialized yoga sessions can range from a group session with you and a few friends who are curious, but uninterested in public classes to one-on-one sessions that show you how to move safely coming off an injury, education about functional movement, or meditation and restorative practices that reduce deep anxiety, trauma, and stress. A specialized yoga session is individualized to allow for authentic healing whatever your needs are. With its capacity to create harmony in your body and mind; yoga is a positive component of a holistic health plan, providing a strong compliment to other healing modalities.

Historically, like all great spiritual traditions, Yoga sought to provide union between the mind, body and spirit, as a route to freedom from the confinements of the human condition and to end suffering. One of my favorite definitions comes from the Bhagavad Gita, an ancient Yoga text:

“This knowledge is the king of education, the rarest of all secrets and the purest of knowledge. Because it gives direct perception of the self by realization.”

Yoga is, and always has been a healing and evolutionary practice.  It has been for me on multiple levels and I am passionate about sharing my experience and what I have learned with others who can benefit from this practice. A yoga practice facilitates heightened awareness. When it becomes clear how our suffering and health challenges are linked to our own behavior and thinking; it is a natural and innate reaction to change harmful patterns and make more life-affirming choices. Through practice, clarity and awareness, positive change is possible, regardless of your current circumstances.
